Along with the cafeteria and the auditorium, the Medical Library represents the meeting point for students. Both as a solitary and integrated into the topography, the new building connects the surrounding buildings.

The northern part of the building is designed as a communication passage and serves as a place of informal information. Inside and along the south side, there are the multimedia desks. The automated sun-orientating louvres guarantee for an optimal work environment.
