The compact building is an extension to the architectural faculty of the Polytechnic College Stuttgart. Both buildings form a 2-corridor complex, where the atrium serves as a hub, a lecture and an exhibition space. The angled concrete wall facing south consists of a 'concrete core cooling', which acts as a heater in winter and a cooler in summer. Equipped with the latest technical services, the building ensures maximum energy efficiency. The design allows for future expansions and adheres to the 'German Unity' square, forming a clear urban edge.
